Imanol is a Spanish filmmaker, born in Madrid and raised in Gijón.
As the son of professional actors, Imanol soon developed a keen interest in cinema and image creation with an aesthetic style that sits somewhere between fashion photography, performance, design and high end cinematography.
After more than seven years of experience as an editor in cinema and television, he decided to expand his career as a fashion films director, collaborating with big media platforms, such as the online edition of Vogue or brands such as Adolfo Domínguez and Yves Saint Laurent.
With a unique look and a narrative that doesn’t fear intelligent humour or irony, Imanol soon attracted the interests of the advertising world, where he debuted with Collisions for Heart Ibiza that placed him on the Cannes Shortlist.
With his last fashion film, Europa II, he won Best Director and Best Picture in La Jolla Fashion Film Festival.
Imanol has created his own unique style where every nuance counts.
